Stokesley Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced SEND Teacher to join our ambitious and committed team.
This role is to deliver quality teaching and support in our SEND Unit, teaching up to 6 children with a range of needs and managing a teaching assistant to ensure the communication and interaction, cognition and learning needs of all children are met.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
is an experienced teacher of children with complex SEND
is passionate about the rights of children with SEND and ambitious for their achievement every day.
shows compassion, resilience and patience in their care for children with SEND.
holds every child and their family in the highest possible regard and lead by example, having high expectations of what every child can achieve.




The appointed candidate will work alongside our Lead Teacher for our specialist provision units and will be well-supported by the Senior Leadership Team and The Enquire Learning Trust who are committed to providing the very best teaching and learning for all our children and are ambitious for their achievement.

DISCLOSURE AND BARRING AND RECRUITMENT CHECKS
The Trust is legally obligated to process an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before making appointments to relevant posts.
The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings, and any other information held by local police that is considered relevant to the role.
Any information that is 'protected' under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act **** (Exceptions) Order **** will not appear on a DBS certificate.
For posts in regulated activity, the DBS check will include a barred list check.
