About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative Cardiology team, the Registrar plays a key role in the assessment, treatment and ongoing management of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular disease.
The role provides broad exposure across inpatient, consultative and outpatient services, with opportunities to contribute to clinical decision making, education, quality improvement and service development.
Supported by experienced Cardiologists, the position offers a diverse and rewarding clinical experience across a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Details of appointment
Fixed term - 12 month contract
Full time - 76 hours per fortnight
Day worker (on‐call roster)
Commencing from as soon as possible
You will receive 10 hours of paid, protected training time per fortnight, pro rata.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time and casual vacancies.
Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $138,978 - $194,675 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging
Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement ****
In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Salary packaging options include a range of benefits like living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meals and entertainment every year.
North and North-West Tasmania Recruitment and Retention Allowance of $10,000 per annum, paid fortnightly.
Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $**** - $**** per annum, pro rata.
