The General MedicineAccredited Advanced Trainee positions are the key contact for medical advice onthe hospital site and whilst this can be challenging we hope you find theexperience rewarding.
The successful candidateswill be affiliated to one of the four inpatient medical teams, each consistingof two Interns/HMOs and a BPT.
Each medical team has a subspecialty interest.There will also be exposure to undifferentiated acute medicine with the AcuteMedical Unit.
Some weekend work providing senior supervision and ward rounds,with consultant support, will be required and will be rostered in accordancewith the EBA.
The positions have beendesigned to provide a wide range of opportunities to the successful candidate,with exposure to a wide range of inpatient and outpatient acute and chronicmedical conditions.

The successful candidate will have access to BendigoHealth specific training opportunities, but also the Advanced Trainee teachingprogram at the Austin/Northern and VIMG.
Advanced Trainees are expected tosupport candidates for the FRACP exams and help the DPEs with organising theexams.
