The Opportunity n
We are looking for a Home Care Employee to provide individualised, flexible and innovative quality care & services to consumers in the
community.Permanent
&/or Casual position/s available.
Duties will include (but not limited to): n
n
Assisting in the provision of individualised care - using the consumer directed care approach for our Consumers under the direction of the Home Care Manager or designated Coordinator;
n
Assisting Consumers with activities of daily living according to assessed needs and goals as specified in their Care Plan, such as: personal care; domestic assistance; social and emotional support; transportation; respite for carer/family members;
n
Ensuring privacy, confidentiality and dignity of consumers and maintain professional working relationship at all times;
n
Responding to emergency situations using first aid within the responsibilities of a Home Care Employee;
n
Reporting and maintaining appropriate written records regarding consumer care;
n
Reporting of any Incidents and Hazards identified during your working day and working with the Home Care Manager to implement control measures
n
What you bring n
n
A Certificate III in Individual Support (or working towards)
n
The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties
n
An understanding of the Consumer Directed Care and Person-Centred Care principles
n
Care skills that are driven by compassionand empathy
n




Experience in Aged Care desirable
n
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
n
A registered and comprehensively insured motor vehicle and willingness to use for consumer services
n
Team player who is highly motivatedand ability to work autonomously
n
Confidence in use of technology
n
Availability to work various shifts across various days
n

The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:-
