The successful applicant will provide qualified remedial and therapeutic massage treatments to a diverse client base, including clients seeking assistance with musculoskeletal pain, soft-tissue dysfunction, injury recovery, mobility and general physical wellbeing.
Key responsibilities n
n
Assess clients' presenting concerns and relevant health history
n
Provide remedial and therapeutic massage treatments
n
Monitor client progress and modify treatments where required
n
Provide appropriate advice regarding stretching, movement and self-care
n
Maintain accurate clinical notes and client records
n
Communicate professionally with clients
n
Work collaboratively with other practitioners and clinic staff
n
About you n
n
Hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent relevant qualification
n
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal conditions
n
Professional, reliable and client-focused
n
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
n
Eligibility for professional association membership and private health fund provider registration highly regarded
n
Additional skills in pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, cupping, myofascial techniques, sports massage or dry needling viewed favourably
