Cleveland Estate Macedon Ranges Hotel is actively hiring new customer service staff to join our friendly, professional and supportive Housekeeping team.
ABOUT THE ROLE: n
n
To carry out allocated general cleaning duties, achieving established
n standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guests' needs and exceed their expectations about the cleanliness of the room areas of the hotel.
n
Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
n
Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required
n standard.
n
Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms
n are replenished to the correct standards for the room type.
n
Report any lost property following correct procedures
n
Carry out programmed / regular cleaning duties as allocated.
n
Ensure guest laundry is handled in line with Hotel policy.
n
Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as
n set down in procedures manual.
n
Ensure all department equipment is maintained to a high standard.
n
Assist with regular equipment stocktaking.
n
Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to
n security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor
n
Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with
n health and safety regulations and manufacturers instructions.
n
Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors
n

Experience in high quality cleaning and customer service highly regarded
n
If new to Housekeeping, you thrive in an active and at times physically demanding role that will burn plenty of calories and keep you in shape
n
Work well independently and can self-manage your workload and quality of your rooms
n
Love a challenge, take extreme pride in your work and recognise the importance of exceptional guest service.
n
Well presented and ready to rock when you come to work with a positive mindset and a can-do attitude
