Job Description
Reporting to the QA Manager, you will assess products for fit, workmanship, quality, performance and compliance with PA requirements and Australian/Recent Zealand Standards. You will work closely with Senior QA Technicians, fellow QA Technicians, Product Managers and Suppliers to identify quality issues, communicate technical feedback and support practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

Assess garment fit, construction and workmanship against product specifications and quality requirements.
n
Conduct and review fabric and garment testing to evaluate quality and performance.
n
Identify fit and quality issues and provide clear, practical recommendations for improvement.
n
Communicate technical requirements and corrective actions to Suppliers and Product Managers.
n
Maintain accurate records of assessments, testing results and quality feedback.
n
Support compliance with PA requirements and relevant Australian/New Zealand Standards.
n
Manage competing priorities to meet product development and quality assurance deadlines.
n
Build effective working relationships across the business and with Suppliers.
n
About you
n
Previous quality assurance experience within the fashion industry.
n
Solid knowledge of pattern making.
n
Experience in fabric testing and a strong understanding of garment construction and technology.
n
A tertiary qualification in Design and Production.
n
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Effective time management, prioritisation and project management skills.
n
The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
The ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and Suppliers.
