The early years are some of the most important in a child's life. As a Trainee Educator, you will complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care while working full time alongside experienced educators and teachers.
n
This traineeship allows you to earn while you learn, gain hands‐on experience, and build the foundations for a rewarding career in Early Childhood Education. It can also provide a pathway to further study, including a Diploma or university qualification.
About the Role n
This role carries a high level of responsibility in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of every child.

You will:

Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment
n
Contribute to a culture of child safety, reflective practice, and continuous improvement
n
Learn from experienced educators and teachers while completing your qualification
n
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
Participate in meaningful play experiences and learning opportunities
n
Contribute to inclusive and sustainable learning environments
n
Develop your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
n

About You n
You will:
n
n
Be 16 years of age or older (completion of Year 12 is preferred)
n
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
n
Be willing and excited to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, including upholding Child Safe Standards and reporting obligations
n
Maintain safe, respectful, and professional interactions with children at all times
n
Have the ability to manage study requirements alongside employment
n
Hold or be able to obtain a valid and verified Working with Children Check (if over 18 years of age)
n
Provide a minimum of two professional or character references
n
