nMr Hunjra Cafe & Restaurant is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at Kewdale, WA ****. The business specialises in Pakistani cuisine alongside burgers, wraps, kebabs, shawarma, fried chicken and other freshly prepared meals. n
n
nKey Responsibilities include but not limited to: n
n• Inspect and prepare fresh meat, vegetables, spices and other ingredients to ensure quality and freshness. n
n• Prepare and cook Pakistani dishes, kebabs, shawarma, burgers, fried chicken, rice dishes and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. n
n• Operate and monitor grills, fryers, ovens and other commercial cooking equipment, ensuring appropriate cooking temperatures are maintained. n
n• Season and prepare food using appropriate spices, sauces and marinades to achieve consistent flavour and quality. n
n• Portion, plate and garnish meals consistently while ensuring orders are prepared accurately and within required service times. n




n• Prepare ingredients and food components in advance to support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods. n
n• Store and rotate food appropriately and maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and temperature-control requirements. n
n• Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and secure kitchen environment. n
n
nQualifications n
n• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (Preferred but not mandatory) n
n• Diploma of Hospitality Management (Preferred but not mandatory). n
n• Minimum 1 year experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment. n
n
nSkills & Other Requirements n
n• Experience preparing South Asian/Pakistani-style cuisine, including grilled and spiced meat dishes, kebabs and rice-based meals, is highly regarded. n
n• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety practices. n
n• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and manage multiple orders. n
n• Strong attention to food quality, portion control and presentation. n
n• Ability to work cooperatively with chefs and other kitchen staff. n
n• Reliable, organised and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. n
n
