QUALITY MANAGER
(Permanent)
Our client, an established and growing manufacturing company located in WNY, is looking to hire a Quality Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving quality to a new level, implementing and improving quality systems, and leading the organization in quality control.
This position reports to the President; within 6 to 12 months, the position will oversee 2-3 Quality Control Inspectors and possibly an Engineering Tech.
Responsibilities
Providea fresh perspective on the importance of quality
Developprograms, policies, processes, systems, and workflows to support and improveQuality initiatives & strengthen the inspection process of all productlines
Directlymanage, coach, and mentor 2-4 team members in the future
Guidethe overall organization on upholding high-quality standards explaining theimportance to all team members
Consultwith cross-functional teams to implement quality standards
Workwith Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and technical support to alwaysimprove customer experience




Investigatecustomer quality issues for root cause and set in motion preventative actionplans; APQP
PFMEAand FMEA; audit work instructions, processes, and procedures to identifypotential risks to quality
Review,and train on, visual aesthetics of raw materials, in-process, and final product
Manageinternal quality audits
Collect,analyze, and report quality metrics to track quality, productivity, cost ofquality, Voice of Customer, and quality development plans
Otherduties as assigned/as necessary

Positionis full time, direct hire
Positionis 100% in-office, standard 1 st shift hours
$100,000- $135,000 annually depending on experience + monthly bonus eligibility &annual; profit sharing

Strongleadership and management skills
Bachelor'sdegree required (engineering or technical discipline preferred)
SixSigma Certified Green or Black Belt preferred
