The Opportunity We are currently working with a well-established crane hire business in Brisbane who are looking to appoint an experienced Crane Supervisor to oversee day-to-day crane operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands‐on supervisory position suited to an experienced Crane Operator, Senior Crane Operator, Crane Foreman, Leading Hand, Rigger/Dogman or existing Crane Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career. You will play a key role in coordinating crane operations, supporting operators and crews, liaising with customers and ensuring all lifting activities are completed safely and efficiently.

nKey Responsibilitiesn

Supervise and coordinate crane operations across various projects and sites
n
n
Lead and support crane operators, riggers and dogmen
n
n
Liaise with clients, site managers and project teams
n
n
Assist with lift planning, site assessments and job requirements
n
n
Ensure lifting operations are carried out in accordance with safety procedures and relevant regulations
n
n
Review and assist with SWMS, lift plans and associated documentation
n
n
Coordinate equipment, personnel and resources to ensure jobs run efficiently
n
n
Identify and resolve operational issues on site
n
n
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer service
n
n
Provide leadership and guidance to the wider crane operations team
n
n
Assist with scheduling and coordinating upcoming works
n
n
n

We are looking for someone with a strong background in crane and lifting operations who is confident taking responsibility and leading a team.

Crane Supervisor / Crane Foreman background
n
n
Senior Crane Operator background
n
n
Crane Operator with leadership experience
n
n
Crane Technician
n
n
Rigger / Dogman background with significant crane experience
n
n
Leading Hand within the crane/lifting industry
n
n
n
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
n
n
10+ years' experience within the crane/lifting industry
n
n
Strong mobile crane experience
n
n
Previous experience supervising crews or crane operations
n
n
Strong understanding of lifting operations, safety and compliance
n
n
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
n
n
Ability to read and understand lift plans and relevant documentation
n
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
n
n
A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
n
n
Relevant crane, rigging or dogging tickets/licences
n
n
2D CAD experience would be highly regarded.
n
