We are currently seeking an experienced Taxation Advisory Officer to join a NSW Government team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance.
n
n
This is a part-time opportunity working 21 hours per week across 3 days, with a hybrid arrangement including 2 days working from home.
n
nAbout the role n
n
You will provide taxation support and advice across a range of matters, with a focus on individual, trust and estate tax returns.
n
nKey responsibilities include: n
n
n
Preparing high-volume individual, trust and estate tax returns
n
Checking and reviewing Notices of Assessment
n
Responding to income tax queries
n
Managing and responding to ATO correspondence
n
Providing accurate and timely taxation advice and support
n
n
nAbout you n
n
We are looking for someone with:
n
n
n
Previous experience in taxation, tax accounting or a similar role
n
Strong knowledge of Australian income tax requirements
n
Experience preparing tax returns,



ideally across individuals, trusts and estates
n
Robust attention to detail and accuracy
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to manage high-volume work within deadlines
n
