These roles are permanent,
part-time 30 & 40 hours fortnight.
n
The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker
n
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of hours that may include mornings, afternoons and evenings.
n
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
n
About this work area n
As an IKEA Bistro Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Providing friendly and efficient customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages.
n
Ensuring products are readily available by preparing, replenishing and presenting food throughout the day.
n
Handling customer transactions and supporting an efficient Bistro experience during busy periods.
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting Bistro environment, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
n
Following IKEA Food operational routines and food safety requirements to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
n
Working closely with your fellow co-workers to keep the Bistro running efficiently and create a great experience for our customers.
n
Who you are n
As an IKEA Bistro Co-worker you are and/or have:
n
n
A passion for providing a great customer experience and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
n
Comfortable preparing and serving food while interacting with customers throughout your shift.
n
Enthusiastic about working as part of a team and supporting others when things get busy.
n
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
