An expanding Sydney restaurant built around live fire and carefully sourced produce needs a Chef de Partie or a Sous Chef to strengthen its brigade.
The employer is open to experienced and junior applicants for either position.
What the kitchen needs most is someone who stays composed in a rapid, high-energy service and keeps every plate at the same standard.
The team is small, driven and close, and its work stretches beyond the restaurant to bespoke events staged at different venues.

Deliver food at a consistently high standard for clients who expect a lot
Work a fast, energetic kitchen built on fire cooking and quality ingredients
Plan and prepare independently
Lead small events without supervision
Support colleagues at events staged in different locations

Proven experience in professional kitchens and at least 5 years' experience as a chef
Sous Chef candidates need a minimum of 6 months in the role
Event catering or high-volume kitchen experience is highly regarded by the employer
A background in hatted or award-winning restaurants is also highly regarded
A strong focus on consistency and detail, and pride in high-quality food that meets high client expectations
The ability to run small events and prep independently
A positive attitude, solid work ethic and team mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and initiative
Valid NSW driver's licence
Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship may be available for exceptional candidates
