Nu-Pure Beverages is looking for a
Senior Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and automation capability
to join our Maintenance team at our Truganina manufacturing facility.
n
n
This is not a role where you will simply respond to electrical faults. You will be a trusted technical specialist who takes ownership of equipment reliability, investigates recurring issues and works across maintenance, production and engineering to improve how our plant operates.
n
n
You will work with advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and play an important role in preventive maintenance, automation, fault-finding, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
n
n
Best of all, this is a permanent
Monday-to-Friday day-shift position
, with no night shift or rotating roster.
n
nWhat you'll be doing n
n
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will help keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable and performing at their best.
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
n
n
Taking ownership of complex equipment faults and recurring reliability issues
n
n
Diagnosing problems across electrical, automation, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
n
n
Supporting PLCs, control systems, sensors, drives and industrial automation equipment
n
n
Planning and completing preventative, predictive and scheduled maintenance
n
n
Investigating root causes and implementing practical, long-term solutions
n
n
Supporting equipment installations, commissioning, modifications and upgrades
n
n
Identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve plant performance
n
n
Working closely with Production to improve equipment operation and changeovers
n
n
Coaching operators in equipment care, fault identification and maintenance practices
n
n
Contributing to maintenance planning, documentation and spare-parts management
n
n
Supporting contractors and other technicians when specialist expertise is required




n
n
Ensuring maintenance activities meet safety, food quality, GMP and HACCP requirements
n
n
n
n
You will work with industry-leading beverage manufacturing equipment, including
Krones and Kosme production lines
.

nWhat you'll bring n
n

You will be a well-rounded maintenance professional who is comfortable working across different technologies, taking ownership of problems and helping others build their technical capability.
n
n
To succeed in the role, you will bring:
n
n
n
n
A current
Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
n
n
Experience in a high-speed FMCG, food, beverage or automated manufacturing environment
n
n
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
n
n
Experience with PLCs, industrial automation and control systems
n
n
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
n
n
The ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
n
n
A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
n
n
The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during breakdowns
n
n
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Production
n
n
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
n
n
n
n
Experience with
Siemens PLCs, SCADA systems, VSDs, Krones, Kosme or other high-speed packaging equipment
will be highly regarded.
n
n
A
Certificate IV in Electrotechnology
or a related automation qualification would also be advantageous.
n
n
