The Opportunity n
Reporting to the Activity Centre and Economic Development Coordinator, you willplay a key role in shaping the future of community infrastructure across MooneeValley through strategic planning, evidence-based analysis and
collaborativeproject
delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner who enjoys solvingcomplex challenges, working across diverse stakeholders and influencinglong-term investment in community facilities.

n
Undertake community infrastructure planning and needs analysis to informfuture community facility provision.
n
Develop evidence-based business cases and identify creative solutions forcommunity infrastructure projects.
n
Maintain and analyse data to support strategic planning, asset management andinvestment decisions.
n
Provide specialist advice on community infrastructure planning acrossCouncil.
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal
stakeholders,government
agencies, service providers and the community.
n
Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of community facilities to informrenewal, upgrade and future planning.
n
Supervise and support the Community Infrastructure Planner.
n
Skills & Experience n
n
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Strategic Planning, Social Sciencesor a related discipline, or extensive experience in community
infrastructureplanning.
n
Demonstrated experience in strategic community infrastructure planning,policy development and needs analysis.
n
Experience developing business cases and delivering complex projects.
n
Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Knowledge of asset management principles and community
infrastructureplanning
within a local government environment is highly regarded.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Responsibilities n
