About the role
n
Lead a thriving nursery operation and help shape Ipswich's natural environment.
n
Council is seeking an experienced Nursery Supervisor to lead and coordinate our plant production program supporting community and environmental benefits.
n
If you enjoy working outdoors, have leadership experience, previous management of a nursery operation and want to make little things grow, this is the role for you. Your responsibilities will include:

Implement and coordinate plant production and nursery maintenance programs
n
Oversee the successful operation of the popular free plant program
n
Leadership of a dedicated nursery team
n
Maintain irrigation systems, propagation sheds and facilities within the nursery
n
Ensuring secure, efficient and sustainable nursery operations
n

About you
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Horticulture Diploma Nursery Level 5 or equivalent experience, ideally industry experience in a production nursery
n
Basic computer skills
n
A.C.D.C Licence (Current Qld) herbicide
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commencing at $79,616 plus 12.5% superannuation.
