The Opportunity
n
As an Associate or Senior Associate in our Abuse Law and Personal Injury practice, you'll join our Parramatta team on a permanent, full-time basis and take ownership of a varied and established file load across a mix of abuse law and personal injury matters.
n
Working alongside experienced Solicitors, you'll be supported by an accessible and hands‐on leader who is committed to helping his team succeed. You'll join a collaborative and close‐knit team environment with dedicated paralegal support, working alongside experienced lawyers across a broad and interesting practice.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor looking to deepen their expertise, work closely with clients and build a long‐term career within a stable and supportive team.

Provide clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensation
n
Work across a variety of client matters that requirea high levelof sensitivity
n
Develop andmaintainstrong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations

Draft legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detail
n
Manage and run a file load witha high levelof commercial and fiscal awareness
n




Take an active role in working with and mentoring junior members of the team

Whatyou'llbring. To thrive in this role,you'llhave: n
n
A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
n
Post-admission experience in abuse law and or personal injury law
n
A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
n
Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
n
Maturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing trauma
n
A desire to be part of a robust, cohesive team that works together to getgreat results
n
An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
n
