We're looking for an experienced
Duty Manager
to join our team on a
fixed-term
basis to cover maternity leave. If you enjoy being hands-on, leading from the front and making sure the venue runs smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role n
As Duty Manager, you'll take charge of the venue on shift, leading the team and delivering a great experience for our members and guests.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Leading and supporting the team on shift.
n
Managing day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, gaming and events.
n
Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving issues confidently.
n
Ensuring the venue is safe, compliant and operating to a high standard.
n
Managing opening and closing procedures, cash handling and POS.
n
Supporting events, promotions and key venue activities.
n
Coaching your team and creating a positive, high-performing culture.
n
n
The Gibson operates under a midnight liquor licence, providing a more balanced trading environment than many hospitality venues where Duty Managers can be required to work significantly later into the early morning.
About You n




You're a confident hospitality leader who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being on the floor with your team.
n
You'll have:
n
n
Previous Duty Manager or supervisory experience in hospitality, clubs or a licensed venue.
n
Current
RMLV and RSG
qualifications.
n
Solid knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming and WHS requirements.
n
Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
n
The ability to stay calm, make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
n
n
