Job Description
An opportunity is available for an experienced
Qualified Fitter
to join a busy workshop team. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone with solid mechanical fitting skills, particularly across hydraulic systems and machinery repairs.
The Role: n
n
Troubleshoot, repair, install and commission hydraulic systems.
n
Manufacture hydraulic hoses.
n
Complete mechanical assembly and disassembly of machinery.
n
Work with bearings, bushes and general mechanical components.
n
Carry out maintenance and repairs on new and existing equipment.
n
Identify faults and work independently to resolve issues.
n
About You: n
n
Trade qualified Fitter with solid practical experience.
n
Hydraulic experience is highly regarded.
n




Own comprehensive trade tool kit.
n
Physically fit and comfortable working around and underneath machinery.
n
Able to work independently and across different workshop areas.
n
Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
n
What's on Offer? n
n
$50–$55 per hour
, depending on experience.
n
Full-time, Monday to Friday.
n
Approximately 6:00am–5:00pm or 6:30am–4:00pm.
n
Overtime available.
n
Potential for a
4-day working week
for the right person.
n
Predominantly workshop-based position.
n
