About the role:n
Construction of our gold processing facility and
associatedinfrastructure
is well underway at our site near Laverton, WA. Weare seeking an experienced
Operational Readiness MechanicalEngineer
to join our team on an 8/6 roster/hybrid in theoffice when required. This role will ensure the long-term assetintegrity of the plant within the operational readiness phase, bypreventing premature failures during the ramp up phase andsafeguarding the site-based team has the tools and data to fixequipment quickly.
Key responsibilitiesn
n
Tactical Development: Develop maintenance strategies andFMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) forcritical mechanical assets like primary crushers, gyratoryscreens, and leach tank agitators.

CMMS Integration: Support the build of mechanical assethierarchy and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules and Billsof Materials (BOMs) for loading into the CMMS.
n
Lubrication Management: Establish a site wide
LubricationSchedule
and contamination control standards for all rotatingequipment.
n
First Fill & Insurance Spares: Identify and procurecritical insurance spares (e.g., mill pinion bearings, sparepump wet-ends, and conveyor gearboxes).
n
As Built Documentation: Review and verify all mechanicaldata sheets, structural certifications, and pressure
vesselregistrations.
n
Commissioning Support: Support operational
readinessactivities
during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and sitecommissioning to ensure maintainability.

About you:n
n
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
n
Experienced in mineral processing, ideally with experiencein Large-Scale Grinding Circuits and slurry handling.
n
Proficiency in ISO ***** Asset Management and root causeanalysis (RCA) methodologies.
