About the Role n
Hunter Valley Concrete Pumping Service is seeking experienced and reliable
Concrete Pump Operators
to join our team on the Snowy Hydro project.
n
Working underground, you will be responsible for the safe setup, operation and day-to-day maintenance of high-pressure trailer pumps and associated concrete delivery pipelines.
n
This role suits experienced concrete pump operators who take pride in their equipment, work well within a crew and maintain a strong commitment to safety in demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operate high-pressure trailer pumps for underground concrete placement.
n
Set up, inspect and manage delivery pipelines, connections and associated equipment.
n
Monitor pumping pressures, concrete flow and equipment performance.
n
Coordinate with crews and concrete supply personnel to maintain safe, productive pours.
n
Carry out pre-start inspections, routine maintenance and fault reporting.
n
Complete pipeline cleaning and washout in accordance with approved site procedures.
n
Follow site safety requirements, SWMS and isolation procedures.
n
Maintain accurate operational records and communicate clearly with supervisors and crews.
n
Skills & Qualifications n
n




Proven experience operating concrete trailer or line pumps, preferably high-pressure equipment.
n
Experience with Putzmeister high-pressure trailer pumps highly regarded.
n
Underground, tunnelling or major infrastructure experience highly regarded.
n
White Card and relevant pump operating competency/VOC.
n
HR driver's licence preferred.
n
Sound understanding of concrete pumping pressures, pipeline systems and safe operating practices.
n
Ability to identify faults and respond appropriately to changes in pumping conditions.
n
Willingness to work a FIFO roster, including day and night shifts as required.
n
Ability to meet site medical, drug and alcohol screening, and induction requirements.
n
