The Client:
n
A National brand specialising in the cement and timber building industries, located in Carole Park.
What you'll be doing:
n
As a forklift operator / Store Person you will complete a mix of Warehouse pick packing, forklift operation, receiving and despatch work. This is a ***** role where half of your day will be spent not operating forklifts.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Operating
counterbalance forklifts
(LF ticket required)
n




Moving palletised stock from production areas to despatch
n
Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
n
Picking orders from racking and pick face areas
n
Manually picking of orders
n
Building packs for customer orders
n
Wrapping and strapping work
n
Heat string wrapping – able to be taught on the job
n
Palletising stock
n
General warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes
n
Re stacking pallets
n
Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
n
Matching paperwork to customer orders
n
Checking final paperwork against orders going out
n
What you'll need to succeed:
n
You will have previous Store Person, pick packing and Counterbalance forklift operating experience. Your experience will also include:
n
n
Valid
LF Forklift license
n
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment distribution centre is highly advantageous
n
Counterbalance forklift operating experience
n
Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
Pick packing experience
n
Experience palletising stock, wrapping and strapping of stock
n
Shrink wrapping experience
n
Be Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and working in a team
n
Great attitude and reliability
n
