Programmed Maintenance Services – Orange NSW Street Cleaner - Backfill | Orange City Council Early Morning Shifts | 4:00am - 1:0pm | Casual Backfill Opportunities About the Role n
You will support
Orange City Council's Street Cleaning Team
, helping keep Orange's streets, footpaths and public areas clean, safe and presentable.
n
This position will provide backfill coverage during periods of planned leave as well as potential future unplanned leave.
n
Your duties will include:
n
n
Operating mechanical street sweepers and other plant equipment
n
Sweeping streets, footpaths and public areas
n
Cleaning paved areas and collecting leaves and litter
n
Assisting with winter salt spreading operations
n
Undertaking general cleaning and labouring duties as required
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
About You n
To be considered, you
must hold:
n
n
Current
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
n
You will also ideally have:
n
n




Previous experience in street cleaning, labouring, civil works or a similar environment
n
Experience operating plant or machinery
n
A strong commitment to safety
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliability and availability for
4:00am starts and weekend work
n
A positive attitude and solid work ethic
n
