The Role n
n
Mechanical fitting, installation and maintenance
n
General fabrication, metalworks
n
MIG, TIG and stick welding as required
n
Equipment installation and commissioning
n
Machinery repairs and breakdown maintenance
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Site installation and modification works
n
Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling components
n
Working independently and as part of a project team
n
Machining skills on a manual lathe and manual milling machine
n
Completing work in accordance with SWMS, site requirements and company safety procedures
n
What We're Looking For n
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or Fabricator
n
Minimum 5 years experience in industrial, manufacturing or engineering environments
n
General fabrication experience
n
Strong mechanical knowledge and some fabrication skills
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Good welding ability both onsite and in the workshop
n




Experience with machinery installation, maintenance and repairs
n
Current driver's licence
n
Construction Industry White Card
n
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work unsupervised when required
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work
n
Willingness to work overtime when required
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space and other relevant high-risk licences would be highly regarded.
n

Pay: $***** – $***** per hour
n
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
n
Experience: Mechanical Fitter: 5 years (Preferred) Welding: 5 years (Preferred)
