What you will be doing day to day: n
n
Operate
dozers and loaders




across civil construction and earthworks projects.
n
Undertake bulk earthworks, material handling, loading, stockpile management and site preparation.
n
Carry out trimming, spreading and general earthmoving activities.
n
Operate machinery safely, efficiently and productively.
n
Work to site levels, plans and supervisor instructions.
n
Conduct daily pre-start checks and inspections.
n
Identify and report equipment faults, hazards and site issues.
n
Maintain a high standard of care and cleanliness of plant and equipment.
n
Work closely with supervisors, engineers and other plant operators.
n
Assist the wider project team as required to keep works progressing safely and efficiently.
n
Maintain high standards of
safety, productivity and workmanship
at all times.
n
What the ideal candidate looks like: n
n
White Card – Essential
n
Demonstrated experience operating
dozers and loaders in civil construction – Essential
n
Relevant plant tickets and/or verified competencies.
n
Experience in
bulk earthworks, roadworks, subdivisions or civil infrastructure
highly regarded.
n
GPS machine control experience is highly regarded.
n
Ability to operate machinery safely and productively with minimal supervision.




n
Strong understanding of civil construction site requirements.
n
Good awareness of levels, site conditions and surrounding plant movements.
n
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
n
Takes pride in machinery and the quality of their work.
n
A proactive
CAN DO
attitude.
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
n
Available to commence ASAP.
