We are currently seeking professional, customer-focused
Loss Prevention Officers
to join our retail security team across Melbourne.
n
This is not a gatehouse, patrol or static guarding position.
n
We are looking for officers who are confident engaging with customers, comfortable working in busy retail environments, and capable of maintaining a strong security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.
n

What You'll Be Doing n
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be positioned at the front of store and throughout retail environments to help reduce theft, support store teams and create a safe shopping experience.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Greeting and acknowledging customers
n
Conducting bag checks in accordance with store policies
n
Maintaining a highly visible security presence
n
Identifying and reporting suspicious behaviour
n
Supporting store management with theft prevention strategies
n
Responding to incidents professionally and calmly
n
Writing accurate incident reports
n
Building positive relationships with customers and staff
n
Protecting store assets while delivering outstanding customer service
n

What We're Looking For n
n
To be successful, you will:

Hold a current VIC Security Licence
n
Be confident speaking with customers and store staff
n
Present professionally at all times
n
Have strong observation and situational awareness skills
n
Be reliable and able to work independently
n
Be available for retail operating hours, including weekends and public holidays
n
Have full working rights in Australia
n
Be committed to delivering both security and customer service excellence
