About the role: Juniper Karinya, located in Embleton, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive residential aged care team on a casual basis.In this role, you will assess residents' clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals, and implement and review person-centred care plans.
You will also provide guidance to care staff and help ensure high standards of clinical care for residents.We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and committed to delivering secure, high-quality care.The successful candidate must have availability through the week to cover planned and unplanned leave.Key Responsibilities:Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeingDevelop,
implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their familiesAdminister medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standardsProvide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staffLiaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reportingSupport AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentationEnsure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practiceParticipate in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement initiativesKey Requirements:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse2+ years' experience as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent)Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skillsAbility to guide staff in wound and diabetes managementSound understanding of medication systemsExcellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skillsWhat's on offer:Attractive remuneration dependent on experienceSalary Package up to $18,550 per annum tax freeGenerous annual leave loading 17.5%Juniperks: an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgementHow to Apply:Don't miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role!
