This role covers cost control across CEL North program, both part of the state's transmission network upgrade.About the OpportunityYou will lead the cost control function across two flagship WA transmission programs, CEL North from ACCIONA's Malaga project office.
Own project budgets, cost forecasts and cash flow projections, applying earned value principles to track performance and flag variances early.
You will support change control and risk processes where they affect cost, and work closely with delivery, commercial and financial leads to keep forecasts and contract valuations accurate.
You will also mentor Project Controls Engineers and Cost Engineers.
It's a senior, hands-on role with genuine influence over how two major transmission programs are costed and controlled.Key accountabilities for the position will be:Own project budgets, cost control processes and the cost breakdown structurePrepare accurate cost forecasts,



cash flow projections and monthly reportingApply earned value metrics to track and report project cost performanceManage cost impacts arising from change, risk and procurement decisionsSupport contract valuation, claims and variation assessments with commercial leadsMentor and develop Project Controls Engineers and Cost EngineersLead adoption of ACCIONA's cost planning and forecasting ways of workingRequired Skills and CompetenciesWhat capability and experience will you need to have:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related fieldFive years' experience in cost control and forecastingExperience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) principlesAdvanced skills in Excel, Power BI and reporting toolsExperience managing cost impacts from risk and changeAt ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
