JOB DESCRIPTION n
Reporting to the appointed Supervisor, you will beresponsible but not limited to the following :

General

Comply with and actively support relevant Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental instructions and legislation
n
Ensure Personal Protective Equipment is always worn and maintained correctly
n
Safely operate and maintain field equipment
n
Positively contribute to the task and work as part of a team
n
Undertake training and follow work instructions
n
Report machine and equipment faults to the Supervisor
n
n
Field Duties
n

Crop preparation and maintenance
n
Crop harvesting
n
Operate and maintain field equipment
n
Driving - Tractors, ATV's, Forklifts, Utes and other farm machinery
n
Chemical application
n




Planting
n
n
Packing Shed Duties
n
n
Prepare product for packing
n
Packing product
n
Preparing packed product for dispatch
n
Operate and maintain packing shed equipment
n
Cleaning duties
n
PPS and quality assurance inspections
n
n
Ripening Facility Duties
n
n
Peeling ripe fruit
n
Packingand sealing the packed product
n
Preparing packed product for dispatch
n
QA checking of the packed produce
n
n
Ad Hoc
n
n
Incidental/peripheral
tasks within the skill, competence and training of the employee
