Job Description
This is a hands-on role suited to someone experienced in operating mobile crushing and screening equipment who is also willing to assist with basic plant maintenance.
Key responsibilities n
n
Operate and monitor a mobile horizontal shaft impact crusher and screening plant
n
Operate a 35-tonne excavator to feed the crushing plant
n
Operate a front-end loader to manage stockpiles and load material
n
Complete daily plant inspections and pre-start checks
n
Monitor material flow and plant performance
n
Perform basic maintenance on the horizontal shaft impact crusher and screen, including cleaning, greasing, inspections and minor adjustments
n
Assist with changing wear parts and clearing blockages when required
n
Identify and report faults, excessive wear or potential mechanical issues
n
Maintain a clean and safe work area
n
Follow site procedures, SWMS requirements and isolation/lockout procedures
n

Proven experience operating mobile crushing and screening equipment
n
Competency operating a 35-tonne excavator
n
Competency operating a front-end loader
n
A good understanding of crushing plant operation and material flow
n
Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to undertake routine maintenance
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Positive communication and problem-solving skills
n
A reliable, practical and hands‐on approach to work
