Job Description
Permanent full time opportunity to support the Women, Children and Family Service Line by delivering high-quality administrative and secretarial support, helping teams provide exceptional care and services.
About the role n
Permanent full time opportunity to provide high level, efficient, professional and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Women, Children and Family (WCF) Service Line.
About you n
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Oversee and manage high level administrative and secretarial functions for the Service Line including the monitoring and distribution of correspondence, briefings and other documentation, preparing
correspondence/documents,
records management, and maintaining current weekly and daily
itineraries/diaries
as required for the Service Line Directors.
n
Coordinate high level meetings, produce and distribute agendas and minutes as required, follow up and complete action items arising from meetings.
n
Use effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and assist in the resolution of complaints made by patients or the public.
n
Perform tasks related to processing vacancies, commencements, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
n
Undertake quality improvement initiatives,
projects including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, guidelines and prepare materials and conduct training to facilitate effective administrative functions and document management processes.
n
Provide advice and assistance to senior staff both within and external to Queensland Health on matters of protocol relating to the Service.
