Metroll Toowoomba is looking for a reliable MC Driver to join the team as a casual relief driver.
n
This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for adaptable work, with around 2 to 3 runs per week and the opportunity to provide additional relief when required.
n
You'll be part of a supportive team, helping keep deliveries moving safely and on time.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Complete around 2 to 3 delivery runs per week
n
Provide additional driving relief when required
n
Safely load, secure and transport products
n
Complete deliveries across Toowoomba and surrounding areas
n
Complete pre-start vehicle checks
n
Ensure loads are secured and transported safely
n
Follow Chain of Responsibility and road safety requirements
n
Complete delivery paperwork and records
n
Communicate with customers and the team regarding deliveries
n
Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues
n
Maintain a clean and safe truck
n
n
About you
n
You're a reliable and safety-focused driver who takes pride in doing the job properly.
n
You'll have:
n
n
Current MC licence
n
n
n
Previous truck driving experience
n
HIAB experience advantageous but not essential
n
A strong safety record
n
Experience with load restraint and delivery work
n




Good understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements
n
Ability to work independently
n
Good communication skills
n
Reliable and flexible availability
n
A positive, team-focused attitude
n
Experience in steel, building products or manufacturing is an advantage but not essential.
n
