Job Description
Jason Warren Racing is seeking a full time ground staff member to join our team at Mornington.
n
The duties include:
n
n
Hosing horses after trackwork
n
Swimming horses
n
Mucking out
n
Feeding horses
n
Treadmill horses (if able to)
n
Trotting up horses for the trainer and vet
n
Taking horses to the races as needed
n
General barn maintenance and tidying
n
Any other reasonable tasks as directed
n
n
This position will suit someone who has horse handling experience, preferably racing reliable experience but this is not essential. Be reliable, conscientious, with a high work ethic and able to take instructions from leadership. You must be physically fit and be able to work unsupervised.

The approximate hours are as follows:
n
n
Mon - Sat morning: 5:00am to 10:*****:00am
n
Afternoons: 2:00pm to 4:00pm
n
6 mornings per week and 2-3 afternoons
n
We run a weekly roster and some Sundays may be required by negotiation
n
n
Award wages paid.There is the potential for growth in to a leadership position for the right candidate.This position does not count towards 88 days and currently we have no accommodation available.
