About the Role n
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team based in the office (on-site) in Wollongong. This is a hands-on role focused on the development, enhancement and maintenance of our software applications across web and mobile platforms.

The role will have a particular focus on Angular web development and Android application development, while also contributing to broader software development, system integration and technical improvement across the business.
n
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, develop practical technical solutions and support the ongoing improvement of our software systems.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Design, develop, test and maintain software applications and systems.
n
Develop and enhance web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
n
Develop, maintain and improve Android applications.
n
Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
n
Design and implement new features, functionality and system enhancements.
n
Write clean, efficient and maintainable code.
n
Integrate applications with APIs, databases and other systems.
n
Identify and resolve software defects, technical issues and performance problems.
n
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
n
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
n
Maintain technical documentation and development records.
n
Review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
Assist with software deployment, implementation and ongoing technical support.
n
Work collaboratively with other team members and internal stakeholders to deliver software solutions.

About You n




To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Based in Wollongong or relocating soon
n
A relevant qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
n
Demonstrated professional experience in software development.
n
Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
n
Experience with Android application development.
n
Robust understanding of software development principles and practices.
n
Experience working with APIs, databases and software integrations.
n
Experience with version control and software development tools.
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical solutions.
n
An understanding of software testing and quality assurance.
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
n
Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
Desirable n
Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

REST APIs and web services

Git or other version control systems
