About the Role
n
As a Parks and
RecreationOperator,
you'll be a vital part of our team –
with a focus on parks rubbish removal, cleaning amenities and attending to issues that arise at our public parks and areas
. You'll feel a sense of pride knowing that you and your team keep our shire beautiful.
n
We're looking for team players who are a great fit and who are eager to learn and contribute.
n
You'll receive the training and support you need to safely operate equipment while being a part of a supportive crew
n
You'll work under the Local Government (State) Award, with opportunities to grow your career while making a real difference in the community

What We're Looking For
n
n
Must have a MR driver licence (As this role will operate Council's waste collection truck)
n
Must have a SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
A great attitude and strong work ethic
n
Willingness to learn and get stuck in, even when the task gets hard
n
A reliable and dependable team player who takes pride in completing every task with integrity and efficiency
n
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
n
Brings a positive, proactive, and community-focused attitude to each task
n
n
Pre-Employment Screening
n
Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including a hearing test and drug and alcohol screening
