Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Scaffolder to join our client's growing team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated scaffolding professional who enjoys leading crews, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering quality outcomes across a variety of projects.
n
This role will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.
About Us n
As a Leading Hand Scaffolder you will supervise scaffold crews on site, ensuring scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled safely, efficiently and in accordance with Australian Standards.
n
You will provide day-to-day leadership, coordinate site activities, and promote a strong safety culture while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and supervise scaffolders and labourers on site
n
Allocate tasks and coordinate daily site activities
n
Ensure all scaffold work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards
n
Conduct pre-start meetings and enforce WHS procedures, PPE requirements, and SWMS compliance
n
Coordinate labour, transport, and material requirements
n
Complete scaffold inspections, tagging, and handover documentation
n
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
n
Liaise professionally with supervisors, clients, contractors, and other trades
n




Mentor and develop team members to build capability and promote a positive team culture
n
Promote and uphold company values and safety expectations at all times
n
Your Profile n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Advanced Scaffolding Licence
n
Construction White Card
n
Forklift Licence highly regarded
n
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and scaffolding regulations
n
Experience supervising scaffold crews and leading site activities
n
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications
n
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
n
Robust commitment to workplace safety
n
Reliable work ethic and professional attitude.
n
Travel Requirements n
This position requires flexibility to travel to project sites throughout the region.
n
Applicants must be willing to travel and stay away overnight when required.
n
