About the opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to join its Newstead head office team.
With a strong foundation in property development and award-winning residential buildings, this business offers more than a traditional property management role. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day property management while working closely with an onsite team of property and building managers.
This opportunity suits an organised, service-focused professional who takes pride in well-managed properties and is interested in developing their building management experience.
Your responsibilities
1. End-to-end property management: Manage daily operations, maintaining high service standards and compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
2. Inspections and reporting: Conduct tenancy inspections and prepare accurate inspection and periodic maintenance reports.
3. Repairs and maintenance: Coordinate contractors, repairs and maintenance, following work through to completion.
4. Building presentation: Conduct daily building walk-throughs, assist with monitoring car parks and common areas,
and identify maintenance or presentation issues.
5. Trust accounting: Complete daily reconciliations and mid- and end-of-month procedures using PropertyMe.
6. Team collaboration: Work closely with property and building managers to support team performance and deliver a consistent, professional service to owners and residents.
About you
You bring:
1. At least 4 years’ property management experience.
2. Enjoy the convenience of managing all properties within one building -save time with no travel between locations!
3. Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8:30-5pm and every second Saturday from 9am - 1pm
4. Current Queensland real estate registration and sound knowledge of relevant legislation.
5. Proficiency in PropertyMe, with experience in trust accounting.
6. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a genuine commitment to customer service.
8. An interest in building management and maintaining high standards across the properties you manage.
