Inventory & Fulfilment Controller

You are the person the business already turns to when the stock numbers need to be right.

We have created this new leadership role to give our Inventory & Fulfilment function one explicit owner. Someone who sees inventory as a commercial lever, not an admin task.

You will shape how this function runs, building something process-led and measurable that performs consistently and keeps our customers well looked after.

About Us

A true garage-to-global story, Meir is an Australian-owned brand that has grown from humble beginnings to a formidable presence in the global market. We specialise in premium tapware and bathroom products, backed by our lifetime guarantee and a relentless commitment to quality and design. We Do It Better isn't simply our mission statement; it is how we expect to operate every day.

The Role

You own the Inventory & Fulfilment result and lead the team that delivers it.

- Own the demand plan, replenishment and Tier 1, 2 and 3 stock policy
- Keep stock available across Australia and China, with backorders the exception
- Manage stock turns, SLOB and working capital against clear targets
- Hold suppliers, our 3PL and freight partners to agreed standards
- Make Acumatica the single source of truth for inventory data
- Run the weekly Inventory & Fulfilment review, raising risks early
- Lead, coach and grow a capable, accountable team

This is a full-time role reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, based in our office five days a week.

Who We're Looking For

You understand how availability, working capital and customer delivery connect,

and you enjoy being the person who makes them work together.

- Owned inventory or planning outcomes in a product business
- Led an inventory, planning or fulfilment team
- Commercial fluency in stock turns and working capital
- Managed suppliers and a 3PL, ideally with China manufacturing
- Strong ERP and data capability, with a curiosity for the why

And the non-negotiables - you own your numbers, you understand the cause before you share the result, and you raise risk early. When you bring a problem, you bring a recommendation with it.

Must Have Values

These are not aspirational. They are the minimum we expect from everyone here.

Respect: Is kind and behaves with good intent. Treats others the way they want to be treated, with empathy. Listens without prejudice and remains calm.

Teamwork: Contributes with positivity and optimism. Respects others' points of view, is non-judgemental and helpful, and works towards a common goal.

Integrity: Talks about people only when they're in the room. Does what's right when no one's looking. Does what they say they're going to do.

What's on Offer

- A new role with genuine ownership of an important function
- A direct line to the COO and a real voice in decisions
- The chance to shape how this function runs for years to come
- A premium Australian brand selling into 40+ countries
- Work you can see in customer delivery and business results

If you read this and thought "that's how I already work", we'd love to hear from you.

Send through your CV and, if you like, a short note on an inventory or fulfilment result you owned and improved.
