The Langham, Gold Coast offers guests a variety of venues each with their own unique ‘flavour’ and offerings, with one thing for certain – our cuisine will always be an experience to look forward to. We are seeking an creative and experienced Demi Chef to deliver a memorable experience by creating a place to savour for our guests and establish The Langham, Gold Coast asa dining institution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present high quality a la carte dishes to five-star standards
- Support Senior Chefs in daily kitchen operations and service delivery
- Maintain consistency, presentation and flavour across all dishes
- Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene,



and workplace health and safety standards
- Work collaboratively within a friendly, fast paced, professional kitchen environment

About You

Our Demi Chef will be driven to work alongside highly skilled chefs, refining their technique as well as contributing to a world-class guest experience. It is preferrable that you have experience in high end volume operations at a luxury hotel or high-end venue, with proven experience leading teams to meet a level of high performance across food quality and innovation.

Other key attributes we are looking for include:

- Sound knowledge of the latest trends in the Industry
- Experience delivering bespoke menus and amenities.
- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality experience
- Proven ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
- Creative with an eye for detail and a flair for presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Completed technical education in hospitality or culinary school
- Australian work rights
