The Role As a Heavy Duty Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant to ensure equipment reliability, safety and operational performance across site.

Equipment includes:

- Komatsu PC1250 excavators.
- Liebherr 9200 excavators.
- Hitachi EX3600 excavators.
- Komatsu HD785-7 dump trucks.
- CAT dozers and loaders.
- Epiroc T45 drills.

Key responsibilities include:

- Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs.
- Completing breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues.




- Identifying and replacing faulty components.
- Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard to maximise availability.
- Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards.
- Completing maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- An Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification.
- Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment in a surface mining environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
