The Role As a Mobile Plant HV Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing electric-drive haul trucks and associated mobile mining equipment, ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing electrical servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile plant.
- Fault-finding, diagnosing and rectifying electrical issues.
- Carrying out electrical breakdowns and component replacements.
- Conducting statutory electrical testing and inspections.
- Completing minor electrical works as required.
- Testing,
inspecting and maintaining electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Completing maintenance reports and documentation in line with site requirements.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience maintaining and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Experience with electric-drive haul trucks.
- Exposure to GE drive systems.
- Experience conducting statutory testing on electrical infrastructure.
- Current CPR and LV Rescue qualifications.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- National Police Clearance.
- White Card and current driver's licence.
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently.
