About the Role
As a Locum Anaesthetist you will take on placements at hospitals across the region, working with recent teams and caseloads. Because the work is locum, you choose placements around your life and can take time between them to recover. Travel and accommodation are provided and the logistics are sorted before you arrive.

About the Location
The Illawarra Shoalhaven runs along about 242 kilometres of coastline, with long sandy beaches, harbour inlets, rivers and protected estuaries between the Pacific Ocean and the Illawarra Escarpment. Wollongong is roughly 80 minutes' drive from Sydney and Nowra about two hours, with a quieter pace of life than the city.
Eligibility Criteria
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA)
- Current specialist registration with AHPRA
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Full working rights in Australia
