The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Palliative Medicine Consultant to support community Palliative Medicine services in the Illawarra.
This role suits palliative medicine consultants, staff specialists and VMOs who want a community role in a coastal region, with beaches and escarpment scenery on the doorstep.
The placement runs from late December to January, with full time hours preferred, at $2,000 per day.

Clinical Environment
• Community palliative medicine role, with most work at one central hospital site and some work at other sites across the Illawarra and South Coast
• On-call roster of up to 1 shift per week and 1 weekend per month
• On-call duties generally handled remotely, without site attendance

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration in Palliative Medicine
• Recent consultant-level palliative medicine experience, including community care
• Availability for the full placement, with full time preferred
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete onboarding
