Our client is representing some of the most recognised streetwear and heritage sports brands in the world, they bring global and local sport from the stadium to the street.
This newly created Account Manager role reports to the Commercial Director and offers the chance to shape the growth of a high profile brand portfolio, with scope to introduce additional international brands into the Australian market.
The Role
You will drive revenue growth and lead relationships with Australia’s leading fashion and sports retailers. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering revenue targets and managing the commercial performance of the portfolio
- Developing and executing GTM strategies for mainline, SMU and hot market assortments
- Leading four seasonal range reviews per year, including pre-lines, design ideation and launch planning
- Acting as primary point of contact for key accounts, running regular reviews on assortment, sell-through, order book and activations
- Managing forecasting, budgets, ATS,
stock on hand and order book to ensure strong availability and fulfilment
- Partnering with merchandising, marketing, design, CX and finance to bring product to market and deliver best-in-class account service
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends, and visiting the market to ensure product is positioned correctly
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and account management within a wholesale or retail environment
- Proven track record managing and growing key accounts and delivering sales targets
- Strong commercial and numerical capability across budgets, forecasts, order books and inventory
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, planning and finance
- Credible and on-brand when engaging with buyers and store teams
- Confident working independently in a national field-based role, with travel required
- A genuine passion for fashion, streetwear and sport
