About the Role
We are seeking a permanent Assistant Store Manager to join the Rockhampton store. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and develop a motivated and knowledgeable team. You will provide tailored advice on furniture, fabrics, and homewares while supporting daily store operations, visual merchandising, and overall store performance.
Skills and Experience
- Previous retail management experience, ideally in a customer-facing setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence in building long-term relationships
- Experience in visual merchandising and creating appealing store displays
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle furniture and large cartons
- A genuine interest in furniture, interior design, or homewares
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and improve team performance
- Retail management qualifications or equivalent supervisory experience desirable
