JK's client is a leading Australian manufacturer operating from a large-scale production facility in Ballarat. Following a recent multimillion-dollar investment in technology and infrastructure, the site features modern equipment, automated machinery and robotics.

The organisation offers a skilled and safety-focused environment, supporting a variety of manufacturing functions including warehousing, production, assembly and logistics operations.

The Role:
JK Personnel is seeking a reliable and safety-focused 12-tonne Forklift/Yard Tug Operator to support Freighter’s manufacturing and workshop operations.
Working across the yard, warehouse and production areas, you will safely move trailers, pick and palletise production components and deliver materials directly to welding and robotics teams. You will use RF scanners to review parts orders and help maintain an efficient flow of equipment and materials throughout the site.

Duties:

- Operate forklifts and yard-tug's to safely move trailers and materials
- Pick and palletise production components using RF scanners
- Deliver materials to welding, robotics and other production areas
- Complete pre-move checks on brakes, lights and couplings
- Maintain a clean,



organised and hazard-free work environment

Skills & Experience:

- Current Forklift Licence
- Previous stores, warehousing or manufacturing experience
- Strong forklift operation and material-handling skills
- Current driver’s licence, with a HC Licence highly regarded
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work effectively within a team
