Prime Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Australian engineering and manufacturing company specialising in heavy mechanical equipment and advanced workshop technology.
This is an opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join an experienced workshop team, working with modern CNC machinery and a range of industrial equipment in a company that values quality workmanship, safety and continuous improvement.
The Role
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on CNC and manual machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs.
- Service and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipment.
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble mechanical components.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workshop efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Australian-recognised trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter-Machinist or Machine Tool Fitter.
- Practical experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience with CNC or manual machine tool maintenance is highly regarded.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, safety and teamwork.

- Location: Kewdale, WA.
- Excellent salary based on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, plus overtime when available with applicable penalty rates.
