TS Global provides conveyor and materials handling products and services to the mining and industrial sectors. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Trades Assistant to support our Site Services team with maintenance, repairs and installation work on site.
With a four-day working week, this is a great chance to put your practical skills to work alongside experienced tradespeople.
About the role
You will assist our tradespeople with day-to-day site work, prepare tools and equipment, handle materials and help maintain a safe, organised work area. The role suits someone who enjoys physical work, follows instructions and takes pride in getting the job done properly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with conveyor maintenance, repairs and installation activities.
- Preparing and safely handling tools, equipment and materials.
- Supporting site crews to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining housekeeping and following site safety requirements.
What you’ll bring
You will have a strong work ethic, a practical approach and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, particularly around conveyors, mining or industrial maintenance, will be highly regarded.
You must hold the following current tickets and medical:
- Standard 11.
- Coal Board Medical.
- Working at Heights.
- Confined Space.
An MR truck licence is desirable, but is not essential.
