Summary:

As a Deli Assistant at our Warrandyte retail location, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting in the preparation and presentation of our deli products. Your contributions will ensure that our customers enjoy a high-quality shopping experience, reinforcing our commitment to quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with their deli selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present deli products, including meats, cheeses, and salads, in an appealing manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the deli area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management,



ensuring that products are fresh and available.
- Collaborate with team members to promote special offers.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic food handling knowledge and a commitment to food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends (4 Days per month) and public holidays on a rotating basis.
